本句歌詞是由一則希臘神話衍生
而來。該神話敘述麗妲與宙斯生
了一個女兒，名叫海倫。由於海
倫長得實在太美了，被派里斯王
子搶走。海倫的丈夫在羞憤之餘
，發動了上千艘船的兵力去營救
海倫。也就是引自荷馬史詩中，
形容「海倫」的傾城之貌，引來
希臘千萬軍隊開戰（即「特洛伊」
戰爭）之詞句；這就是這句歌詞

的典故。
